New Community Life & New Life Recovery
New Community Life launched a new ministry on August 27, 2014. It’s called “New Life Recovery." It’s focus is to help those to overcome the various addictions of this world. New Life Recovery is all about WAR (wounded hearts, addictions, and restoration). We believe that God is very capable of handling all the problems that weigh us down. If we trust that God is who He says He is and seek Him whole heartedly, we can be set free from the strongholds of life. NLR is a place to find hope, love and support. It’s a place of encouragement and fellowship. And it’s a place to learn to grow and to heal. We hope to see you there!
What to expect at New Community Life
New Community Life is a vehicle for bringing a high expectation, faith, and hope for many persons to have an experience with God. This kind of expectant faith will bring us to great things similar to the events that are written in the pages of the Bible. New Community Life is committed to never limit our experience with Jesus Christ and are confident in His abiding love and power. As we collectively apply the principles of God’s Kingdom, God is faithful every time that we meet to do things beyond what we are capable of putting into words. Come and experience it for yourself!
New Community Life is reaching out!
The Monday night prayer meetings at New Community Life has spilled over into the streets in our community, as we have been praying that our neighbors be touched by the Kingdom of God. As soon as we began these prayer walks, we felt moved to tell about the grace and power that the prayer group and New Community Life has been experiencing. Therefore, we walked right up to people on their porches and talked to them about who we are as New Community Life. These individuals, virtually every person we spoke with, greatly appreciates our visitation. Moreover, they are happy to let us pray with them. Quite a few sensed the Presence of the Lord as we pray and encourage them. Glory to God! One lady experienced 100% alleviation of a sharp and serious back pain. Whether or not complete healing was retained, it is certain that God was showing His compassion to her that day. Other persons received words of knowledge (1 Corinthians 12:8) and a sense of God speaking directly to their circumstances. What a wonderful thing it is to witness God’s move in the lives of people!
Tuesday Gatherings at New Community Life
New Community Life’s Tuesday night Bible Study Fellowships have been happening for quite some time, and it has kept many persons growing and involved. The Lord has brought the homeless, business leaders, single mothers, college students, and families to help carry the New Community Life Vision and Mission. We have seen a great move of God in the midst of each fellowship and are open to whatever The Holy Spirit wants to do in the moment. Every meeting God brings several individuals who are in search of God and community. Much like the early church, the Lord is adding souls daily to the fold. The body make up of New Community Life is extremely diverse. It is not unusual to see more than 7 countries represented in our fellowships. Yes, God is at work!
New Community Life - A Word from Pastor Aaron
"When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men” (Eph. 4:8).
It is sad to say that there are a good number of Christians who are being held captive. It's like they are a prisoner to whatever is currently going on in their lives. Why is this so? It's because the trials and tribulations of life has convinced them there is no way out and they have given up and are settling for whatever happens. Maybe you feel trapped working a certain job or maybe depression is trying to find a home in your heart and isn't taking no for an answer? Did you know that Satan nor anything of the world has the authority to hold you captive? After Jesus' death on the cross, He descended into hell, defeated Satan, arose on the third day victorious, and ascended into Heaven leading captivity captive! One gift that He gave us is the Holy Spirit. Jesus once said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives…to set at liberty those who are oppressed" (Luke 4:18). This same Spirit that is upon Jesus is in and upon you armed and ready to proclaim liberty on your behalf. You are not a prisoner! You are a winner because you have been set free! Believe and receive it now! I pray that this Word blesses you beyond measure. Love Your Co-Laborer in Christ, Pastor Aaron T. Murphy
New Community Life with Takeover Movement
Primetime Marketing’s CEO “Kelly Cole” and New Community Life’s Lead Pastor “Aaron T. Murphy” joined together to lead a movement to takeover the world. During one of their usual weekly Chinese Buffet Meetings, The Holy Spirit spoke to them about doing something that involved Christian Artist, Rappers, Singers, Businessmen, Comedians, Poets, and Producers with the same goal of taking over the world for the Kingdom of God (Matt. 11:12). This vision is larger than life and involves going town to town, city to city, state to state, and continent to continent by sharing the Gospel by any means necessary. The Takeover Movement is rooted in the following 7 Core Values - Excellence, Leadership, Service, Commitment, Holiness, Respect, and Honesty. Some of the ministers who have committed to joining this movement are Aaron Cole, D.Higgz, Zack Dukes, Vashti Perry, D.J. Selah, and more. Right now, Takeover Movement is hosting a “Youth Takeover Tour” and ministering in cities all over the U.S.
My experience at New Community Life
New Community Life is similar and different from fellowships I have been a part of in the past. Over the past three weeks, I noticed that the leadership always allows The Holy Spirit to take the lead. There may be an agenda on the floor, but it is subject to change due to the move of The Holy Spirit. New Community Life is similar and different from fellowships I have been a part of over the years. When I first came to New Community Life, I was fresh off of a job loss. I was severely wounded in my spirit. I felt alone, and I was just beginning to understand why I was going through this trial. I needed comfort, I needed reassurance, and a right now WORD. I can honestly say the teachings are excellent, and are very easy to comprehend. On top of it all, you meet wonderful people. Everyone that's part of the fellowship is very down to earth, nice, and they love The Lord. All of us are from different backgrounds and were raised differently, but we all have something is common, and that's our desire to serve GOD. Well, what more can I say about this house of worship. It's a place where you are free to worship God in spirit and truth.
